We at Cheshire County Council's Fostering and Adoption service, hope this website helps you get an idea of the effect you could have on a child's life by adoption or fostering, and how you can adopt or foster a child or young person in Cheshire.

Cheshire's fostering and adoption service provides a wide range of services, from full time adoption and fostering to part-time caring. Whatever time and love you can give will drastically change a child's life - for the better.

The impact you can have on the life of a child is immense, however many people hesitate believing they are not special enough to foster or adopt a child - they are wrong! The truth is that you only have to be special in the eyes of the child you care for. To do that you need the time to make a child feel wanted, loved and an important part of your life for as long as they are in your care. You really can make a difference and change a child's life.

We provide adoption and fostering services throughout the Cheshire region from Ellesmere Port to Chester, Northwich to Crewe and Macclesfield to Congleton and we are happy to speak to anyone with any questions, queries or worries. If you live in Stockport, Manchester, Liverpool, Wirral, Stoke-on-Trent, Flintshire or Wrexham we are happy to offer help and advice although these areas do have their own fostering and adoption services.
